could say that Andy Hain's business is his pleasure. After
all, you don't spend your working week selling bicycles, then
take a 'busman's holiday' in the saddle on the 1,000-mile trip
from Lands End to John O'Groats, unless you've got a real love
of life on two wheels.
It's
a trip that the Leslie Bike Shop owner has made not once
but twice to raise money for outings for
the old folk in the town, accompanied by wife Fiona, a partner
in the business which employs a total of five people. Andy
has been behind the handlebars at the High Street shop since
1988, and given his commitment, it's surprising to discover that
he wasn't seriously bitten by the biking bug until he was in his
30's. Success
in his business has come a lot quicker than that with the shop
establishing a reputation for quality cycles and accessories, as
well as repairs and after sales care. With the breadth of range
and hundreds of bikes in stock at any given time, customers are
truly spoiled for choice. Just
