With Pre-Order, you can purchase the latest items added to our store in advance of them arriving with us.
Your Pre-Order is prioritised (at no additional charge); meaning that as soon as the product arrives with us, we can wrap it straight back up; ready for collection via Click & Collect or despatch to you — it often never even hits the stock room shelves!
With Pre-Launch, the date when we expect to receive the product ourselves is still a little too hazy to be confident in accepting Pre-Orders.
So, instead, you can submit your email address against the item you are interested in and we will email you as soon as stock arrives on the system.
Estimated Delivery & Collection Dates are given on Pre-Order and Pre-Launch products. They are for indication purposes only and can change at any time without notice.
The dates we provide are based on indications given by our suppliers. Whenever we get updated information from our suppliers we will endeavour to update the Estimated Delivery & Collection Dates provided on product pages.

RETURNS & REFUNDSOur returns policy lasts 30 days from the day you receive your order. To be eligible, your item must be unused, in the same condition you received it, and in its original packaging. The Merida Silex 400 is an adventure-ready gravel bike designed for the road less travelled, offering everyday versatility and off-road capability.
The Silex concept features modern MTB-inspired geometry with long top and head tubes and a short stem, providing nimble, confidence-inspiring handling. This second-generation frame includes a revised fork design that allows for the installation of a suspension fork without affecting geometry.
Built for adventure, the aluminium frame includes five sets of bottle bosses and rack mounting points, offering multiple luggage-carrying options. The bike features internal routing for dropper posts and dynamo systems, alongside the sleek WIRE PORT cable routing for a clean look. The carbon fork includes additional cargo mounts and internal routing for a dynamo hub.
Equipped with a durable Shimano GRX 2x10-speed groupset and powerful hydraulic disc brakes with 180mm rotors, the Silex 400 is ready for any terrain. The frame provides generous tyre clearance of up to 700x45 mm, or 42 mm when using fenders.
